Hi.

I am so glad you are here.

Life’s circumstances and challenges can really wear on our resiliency and ability to cope effectively. Our past experiences can also shape our current beliefs about the world and influence how we show up in it. Sometimes this causes us to get stuck in certain thought and behavior patterns, which may no longer be serving us. My goal is to help clients get to the root causes of their difficulties and find new ways of relating to themselves and others.

Through my warm and direct approach, I empower clients to create a more meaningful life that is aligned with their personal values. I utilize different modalities (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS) to explore emotions, gain understanding and self-compassion, build courage, and learn & apply new skills to make positive, desired changes.

I frequently provide my clients with handouts, and podcasts/TED talks/apps/book recommendations that would enhance their therapeutic progress in between sessions.

I received my Masters of Education in School Counseling from Georgia State University in 2015 and my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Maryland. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and have a wide range of experience working with children and adolescents in a variety of different settings - inclusion camps for individuals with Autism, classrooms, school counseling offices, and private practice.
