Madison Ferrarini-Lee

Post-Doctoral Clinical Fellow

I am incredibly passionate about the process of therapy.  As a therapist, I desire to understand each client and to help create the safe space needed to grow.  I prioritize the therapist-client relationship and believe therapy can be powerful to strengthen the connection with ourselves and others.  I consider it a privilege to sit with my clients’ stories and empower them in their healing journey.

I specialize in working with adolescents, adults, and couples. I am passionate about my work with clients who find themselves amid life transitions and difficult decisions. I work with couples to identify and change the challenging patterns that are often the result of miscommunication, mistrust, and stress in the relationship. I truly enjoy working with couples who yearn to establish healthy communication with one another and who want to deepen their understanding of their partner.

My areas of specialty include anxiety and worry, attachment issues, coping skills, depression, emotional regulation, family conflict, grief, identity questions, loss, LGBTQ+, life transitions, perfectionism, personal growth, bullying, self-esteem, social skills, social anxiety, spiritual issues, and stress management.  My counseling style integrates a Psychodynamic approach combined with attachment theory and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I see my clients as unique individuals while also honoring each person as a member of the family unit, community and culture from which they were raised.

I have earned my doctorate in Clinical Psychology and also hold and Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from Fuller Seminary. I currently work as a post-doctoral fellow at Northside Hospital in their Behavioral Health Services Department along with my work here at AICC. My work experience includes a variety of settings and populations including community counseling, private practice, hospital, and university settings and have experience with clients from diverse backgrounds (i.e., gender, age, sexual identity, race, religion, SES). I will be working under the supervision and direction of our Clinical Director, Dr. Christi Bartolomucci, until I fulfill the requirements to become an independently Licensed Psychologist.

I would feel honored to walk alongside you in your therapy journey. Let’s talk. It can be helpful to have a complimentary 15-minute consultation to answer any questions and, hopefully, begin our work together!
